Craig y Don, our stunning Grade II listed home on Anglesey, sits majestically in five acres of grounds sweeping down to the Menai Straits and overlooking the Eryri / Snowdonia mountains. Nine luxurious bedrooms sleep up to 20 people.
This is a spectacular home with something for everybody, including a Cinema Room, old Ballroom, Library / Snug, Games Room and Spa. The house even has its own private jetty on to the Menai Straits, from which you can be picked up by speed boat and whisked off on island adventures.
Anglesey and Eryri / Snowdonia in North Wales are places of unparalleled beauty and amazing experiences. With miles of sandy beaches, mountains, castles, rivers, lakes, great food and a rich history, this is a magical corner of the country.

Craig y Don (in English meaning waves and rocks) dates to 1540. It is one of the most important houses on Anglesey with a rich history, including rumoured visits from Prince Edward (who later became King Edward VII) to meet his lover, the famous 19th century socialite, Lilly Langtree, who frequented Craig y Don.
Today, the house offers discerning groups of family and friends a wonderful combination of tradition (think oak paneling and stained glass) mixed with modern contemporary design, some quirkiness and plenty of WOW moments. This is a luxurious holiday home like no other!

A stunning new kitchen and dining room has floor to ceiling glazed bifold windows to make the most of the views and southerly aspect. The dining table comfortably sits up to 20 people, perfect for family celebrations and get togethers. If you prefer to “dine out at home” then we can recommend an amazing private chef who will cook for you.
The house has space and something for everybody. The Drawing Room is a refined tranquil space to relax. The Cinema Room, with its huge TV, is a super comfy place for streaming films, watching sports or playing board games.
The Library / Snug is a place to escape with a good book or for a game of cards. The old Ballroom has been reimagined as a wonderful, opulent party space. The Games Room offers table tennis and air hockey and doubles up as a relaxed space for all sorts of activities – such as yoga, Pilates or painting workshops.
The (mini) Spa includes two indoor hot tubs, a sauna and a treatment room. We can arrange a full range of beauty treatments and massages. The Tower Roof Deck, with its stunning views, is an incredible spot for early evening drinks!
Six of the nine bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, including the wonderful Prince Edward and Lilly Langtree suites in the Tower. The remaining three bedrooms share two bathrooms. Bedroom eight on the second floor is a great kids’ room, with two sets of bunk beds. In total, the nine bedrooms will sleep up to 20 people.

Cleaning takes place on changeover day between 10am and 4pm. If you would like cleaners to come in and clean during your stay this can be arranged, for an additional cost, if we are given sufficient notice.
