Speciality coffee and honest food, served with genuine hospitality in the heart of Chester. Everyone loves Jaunty Goat! Their first site on Bridge Street serves great bakes, breakfast and brunch (their wild mushroom and avocado benedict is legendary) and their Northgate Street site is fully plant-based (the vegan full-English breakfast is exceptionally good). They also have their own bakery on Bridge Street (opposite the coffee shop) which provides the cakes and pastries for both shops.

Snugburys On The River
Snugburys is run by three sisters Hannah, Kitty and Cleo. This family business was set up by their parents Chris and Cheryl who started making ice cream in their Cheshire farmhouse kitchen nearly 35 years ago. Their main base is out in the Cheshire countryside at Nantwich. However, clearly with Edgar House guests in mind, they set up this little shop on the river a couple of years ago, just a gentle stroll from Edgar House. You will love their ice cream!
