We have connections at some of the best clubs on the Wirral and, in no particular order, here are some of our recommendations –

The crown in the jewel, Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake, home of the 151st Open Championship this year. While its appearance may fool you, the links make the trickiest demands of players’ shot selection, distance control and accuracy. Read more here about the history of the Royal Liverpool, golf’s original major.

Bromborough Golf Club, located on the Leverhulme Estate at the heart of the Wirral, named as the “Wirral’s parkland jewel’. Find 18 distinctive holes that play between 6300 and 6600 yards. This course has also played host to several championships and home to European tour star Paul Waring, winner of the Nordea Masters in 2018.

Heswall Golf Club, with breath taking views across the Dee estuary towards North Wales, this provides golfers with a championship course and state of the art practice facilities.

Caldy Golf Club, a superb 6714 yard course located at the end of the Wirral peninsula. Views can be enjoyed from the cliff top holes across the estuary towards Hilbre island whilst over holes enjoy contrasting views over farmland.

Leasowe Golf Club, a links course on the shoreline of the north coast of the Wirral offering challenging play for golfers at every level.

Bidston Golf Club, renowned for its outstanding greens, this course has been described a very fun to play and is great for novice golfers.
